MOROCCAN CEREAL PARAMETERS — collected 26 October 2026 The catalogue distinguishes runnable partial adaptations from research references. No complete locally validated six-combination (two crops × three engines) collection was found. Defaults stay available and unchanged. Unavailable combinations are visible but disabled; the API rejects incompatible/unavailable profile identifiers. WOFOST wheat: de Wit, Hoek & Balaghi (2012), E-AGRI Strategy Report, Table 3 p.18: Karim, Oum Rabia, Tomouh, Achtar, Kanz, Massira, Arrehane, Mehdia. https://www.e-agri.info/pdf/D22.2_Morocco_StrategyReport_F2.pdf TSUM1/TSUM2 are cultivar-specific; TSUMEM=110 and TDWI=60 are report settings. IDSL=0 is our explicit implementation of the report's spring-type development, removing inherited European photoperiod/vernalisation constraints. Remaining physiology inherits Winter_wheat_106. It is a partial adaptation, not reproduction of CGMS-MAROC or a validation of local yield. Actual sowing and selected initial water are retained; the report's pre-season water spin-up is not implemented. AquaCrop wheat: Achtar, Tadla, Plants (2026), Table 5. https://www.mdpi.com/2223-7747/15/12/1899 Thermal stage sums, CCx, Kcb, WP and HI0 are applied to WheatGDD. Canopy and HI percentages are divided by 100; thermal times remain degC days. Root depth is capped at min(user limit, 1.10 m). CGC/CDC units in the printed table mix calendar and thermal time: preserve as reference, do not guess a conversion. Those rates and unspecified coefficients retain WheatGDD defaults. Initial canopy is not forced from CC0: default seedling area and density remain. Table CN/REW and salinity thresholds are not applied: soil/runoff are scenario inputs and this adapter has no salinity simulation. Irrigated saline-field calibration is not rainfed validation. AquaCrop barley: Hellal et al. (2019), Table 1 p.506. https://doi.org/10.3934/agrfood.2019.3.501 Shared parameters for a Nubaria, EGYPT experiment including Moroccan varieties Adrar, Oussama, Amalou, Massine, Taffa, Firdaws, Amira, Tamellalet and Laanaceur. This is NOT a locally calibrated Moroccan profile, nor one set per named variety. Table 1 reports common values from various sources. Calendar canopy rates use the Barley calendar template, not BarleyGDD. HI 33% becomes 0.33. Maximum roots are capped at min(user limit, 1.30 m). Stage dates absent from Table 1 retain the Barley defaults; yields are exploratory. The normalized WP parameter is not the observed grain-water-productivity output in Table 5; these are never substituted. WOFOST barley: GYGA Morocco describes tuning TSUM1, TSUM2 and TDWI but does not publish their numerical barley values on the reviewed page. Research-only entry. https://yieldgap-test.containers.wur.nl/Morocco APSIM wheat: Mamassi et al. (2022), Table 1. Collected in a separate JSON file. https://doi.org/10.1007/s13593-022-00813-4 APSIM Classic 7.10, not the installed Next Generation PMF model. No direct copying or implicit thermal-time/rate conversion into Next Generation. Requires a verified mapping and validation against local observations before executable use. APSIM barley: Merchouch DSSAT study is a lead, not APSIM coefficients. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.agsy.2022.103470 No verified Moroccan Next Generation barley parameter set located. All available overlays, sources, omitted values, inherited defaults and user inputs are preserved in the complete simulation JSON and Excel parameter-source sheet. A closed water balance verifies accounting, not agreement with Moroccan field data.
